Not so inspiring

Well I tried. The images had difficulty 'talking' to me. I did a couple of sketchbook pages and designed some fabric, but it's really not my thing. But I did like the metal (tomato paste tube) fired on the gas hob. I added some foil and was rather pleased with the effect.

Found some interesting bits in my odds and ends basket and have added another layer to the painted wallpaper.

Dyed silk twill, crushed and then ironed on to iron on vilene to give texture. Then wool tops and synthetic organza embellished on to create a 3D feel

    Throughout my life I have been drawn to textiles and all things 'arty crafty'. Having studied machine knitting and creative textiles on various courses, the time came to go public.
