The experiments with the overlocker are intended as another layer, but I'm also going to raid my baskets of odds and ends. I hate throwing anything away.
Layer 2 went on over the weekend. Working on a larger scale than I normally do adds a sense of freedom - especially when you are using paper that is inexpensive but still robust.

Layer one went on the gessoed wallpaper last night so it was dry to work on today.
First of all I added some more acrylic paint - this time using my artist quality paint - far too expensive to use as the first layer. While that layer was drying I experimented with my overlocker. Now I can thread it easily (well almost!) I am enjoying finding out about its capabilities for creative work. |
