First of all I added some more acrylic paint - this time using my artist quality paint - far too expensive to use as the first layer. While that layer was drying I experimented with my overlocker. Now I can thread it easily (well almost!) I am enjoying finding out about its capabilities for creative work.
Layer one went on the gessoed wallpaper last night so it was dry to work on today.

After seeing what you're doing with an overlocker, when we last met, I'm tempted...but at least I can borrow a friend's machine (though you might have to help me thread it!!).

I'd be very happy to help you thread it - it does require some patience to find all the threading hooks, but it is logical to use - again with a bit of patience. I got a really good deal on mine.
